A glance and a smile
That is all it takes to set
my blood on fire
You seem to have a magic
touch
Especially when it comes to
my heart

I keep pushing you away
Yet you continue to stay my friend
Why are you so nice to me

Every time I look at you
I can’t stop what my heart says
Oh to let you know what is
in my heart

Every time I close my eyes
You are there to hold me close
Just like when I was a teen

I would give anything to be
near you
I don’t know what I would do
If I couldn’t be your friend
To tell you how I truly feel
Would be a dream come true
