What’s Life Teaching You?

Has true love taught you God to fear?
Is righteousness your goal?
Or like a thief will death appear?
And take your precious soul

Will the walk you walk make God content?
Is He pleased how you sing
What persona will you present?
Before Your Lord and King

Before life’s Judge on judgement day
When fore your peers stand
Have you chose God’s Lamb your debts to pay
And take your case in hand

When you stand before your God and men
When The Judge calls your name
Will Jesus be your Lawyer then?
To save you from the flame

Have you often time with Jesus spent
Have your sought God’s advice?
Did you from your wayward sins repent?
Or throw hell’s foolish dice

Will you waste your life on wanton lust?
Take risks for selfish thrills
Will all your dreams turn into dust?
Seeing what Heaven wills

Make no mistake, your time will come
When everything is done
When countless sinners stand as dumb
Without God’s righteous Son

Will pride refuse to see you’re wrong?
Will you scream till you’re hoarse?
Regret singing in hell your song
With endless remorse
