What To Do With Your Life? Poem by Richard Jarboe

What To Do With Your Life?

Rating: 4.0

What did you eat today?
What did you hurt by mistake?
Living and dying is a privilege,
Do you understand that?

What did you do yesterday?
What knowledge did you learn?
What do you do with your life?
What bridges do you burn?

Who did you lie to today?
Or did you say what's true?
Life and death walk side by side,
With only so much time for you.

What's to be done with your life?
Brains don't last forever,
Living and dying is a privilege,
And we all live on the edge.
