When April Showers Poem by JohnPeter Creighton

When April Showers

When April showers,
I shower with her.
Daffodils dance
As we make love
like paper into origami.
My driveway
Becomes a lovers' lane.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A young poet from New Orleans, Nicole Jordan, held a poetry challenge on a Facebook page. This poem is the third revision of what I produced based on Nicole's prompts. And a propos of nothing, tomorrow is my birthday.

I enjoy April's showers too. Third time must be the charm because this poem is just right
