When Happiness Ruled As King. Poem by Ross Mabey

When Happiness Ruled As King.

Poem - When Happiness Ruled As King.

By - Ross Mabey.

As tear drops fall, I hear their echo's ring,
Through the hallways of my memories they sing.
As if they have their own life and bring,
Back times, when happiness ruled as king.

I rue the day, I drank from the Goblet of life,
My eyes were opened to the pain and strife.
That plagued the land of my birth, it was rife,
The only way is forward, don't look back like Lot's wife.

Good write. History is necessary so yoi dont step in the same trap but yeah you got to get up dust yourself and keep going to your grave....the resting place of good peace.
