When I Die Poem by James Casey

When I Die

Rating: 5.0

When I Die

When I die, is up to heaven where I'll go?
Or will I languish in the heat far, far, far below

Some say they know for sure
Where a soul will go and whats more

They'll tell you all about the wonders there
A place in their mind that hasn't a care

But, for me, I don't know where I'll go
I was here and it was quite a show

It was sometimes good and sometimes bad
Had happy moments and many, many sad

I can only tell you it wasn't really swell
While here, I think, I served my time in hell

But if God has a place for me that isn't all that bad
I'll accept the decision, He cannot be that mad

Can He?
