When I Said Goodbye To You
Was not like any other day,
The sky was suddenly clouded,
And though I was strong, I couldn't say
To you farwell, to you farwell...
Did you notice the tear in my cheek?
...My heart growing dim?
Did you notice the sadness in my eyes...
The moment when I said to you 'Goodbye'?
To the people, all around us,
Was like any other day.
Two strangers shaking hands.
Me, in the train...You, in a plane...

A very sad departing. Good rythem and structure. Loved it. Lynn
