When Jesus Came {2}

No angel’s eye has ever seen
No human mind conceived
What God reveals the righteous queen
Who in His Son’s believed

The bible’s but a minute part
A morsel here to view
A speck of light from Jesus’ heart
For those who’d serve Him true

Yet when the dark, gives way to light
When truth, takes captive lies
When Christ reveals His awesome might
We’ll look up to the skies

Then in the cloud we’ll rise above
From Christ receive our crown
Life’s robes of Light adorned with love
and power to come back down

The war of wars will soon begin
Heaven and earth will shake
God’s righteousness will combat sin
Till Satan’s powers break

This truth; the Lord’s ordained to stand
God’s children know it well
Who’s name’s not in the Saviour’s hand
Will join the beast in hell

All shame will follow Satan’s wake
Gross filth, and shameful lie
Man’s sinful flesh, will see the lake
Yet still not one; will die

In endless torment, will they be
On this; we can depend
Reject God’s Lamb upon the tree
Your pain; will see no end
