When Love Is Lost Poem by Adrian Taheny

When Love Is Lost

Rating: 3.5

Love is lost; mine or yours?
Love no longer now endures.
What was once, no longer here.
Gone forever, what was there.

Everlasting, for all time,
For better, worse, yours and mine.
Never-ending, ‘till death do part
Every word, straight from the heart.

Through thick and thin, in every way
Made it through each brand new day.
But deep beneath the bond that binds,
Troubled thoughts in troubled minds.

Parted now; alone once more,
Contemplating, angry, sore.
Fault was hers, or was it mine?
No more reason, no more rhyme.
