When She Finally Stopped Poem by Lance Carthen

When She Finally Stopped

She walk down the side walk...
With a gun in her hand.

She doesnt see every color...
All she sees is red.

Now Gods scolding the Devil...
He slaps his hand and tells him no.

Inside the hourglass...
The teardrops ripple.

Voices of reason are not there anymore.

She walks down the sidewalk...
With a gun in her hand.

She just looking for...
Her loving man.

Shes got the answer to her memories.
The answer to her dreams.

Now she can solve her own problems.
Bring her pain to its knees.

To the king who wore the crown of thorns.
She will break the rule on which death is sworn.

She walks down the sidewalk...
Carrying a gun in her hand.

She walks down the sidewalk...
That will lead to her promised
