When She Needs Him Poem by Emma Jane Pearson

When She Needs Him

She's looking and scanning
All of these strangers faces,
Looking for the only one which she knows.
The only one that she wants to see,
The one that makes her smile so easily,
The one that makes her smile with glee.
Wherever and whenever,
She sees his face,
It comes into her trace,
And it takes her away to a better place.

When her sharp, brown bold eyes
Meet's his shifty, warming blue eyes,
He just walk's, and passes her by,
And she just stop's and stare.
Because the honest truth;
Which she feels he needs to know,
Is that he's the only one she wants to see,
The only one she want,
When she needs him here with her.

They have come a very long way,
Since they turned the first page of their story,
And now with each and every passing day,
She wishes that she could stay by his side,
But now it seems that the more they see of each other,
The less he wants to talk.
It makes her wonder if he wants her to walk,
Leave him alone, and he’ll forget about her.
But sometimes she gets a funny feeling,
That he likes her as well.
