When The Ocean Brimmeths Over Poem by Seema Jayaraman

When The Ocean Brimmeths Over

Rating: 5.0

Today it feels like the ocean brimmeths over
in shades of an unwashed olive and opaque teal
the grey waters all turbid with discontent
leap at a spent pock marked bay
and as I dwell upon the giant leap
I must make into celestial superways
something in my heart tugs me down
a nagging feeling deep in my belly
that I must return to an unfinished business
an intimate play depicting the art ofentwined souls
and till I paint it out with you, stroke by tender stroke
the billion shades offire that mutely torch my insides
the sea will return to tug me into it's dense depths
telling me you can't go, you can't rise

Celestial super ways are made through beauty of perception and expression. The point of overflowing of each sea wave gives a better pockmark and you have wonderfully noticed the leap. Still there is something that pulls mind down suddenly. Instance of combustion mutely torches inside and this gives wonderful sensation. A beautiful poem is very brilliantly penned with nice imagery...10
