When Unrequited Love Sang Heart Sob Blues Poem by Terence George Craddock

When Unrequited Love Sang Heart Sob Blues

music pounding vibrating drums pounding in reverberating bones
music reed instrument shrill or wind haunting whistling on the winds
music when discordant resonates out of tune in novice practice a curse
music when genius written maestro conducted a harmonic symphony

human alone in silent sigh soul cry unrequited love trapped in agony
human alone in nightmare razor webs python constrictor bone crushers
human alone in room shut sinking drowning in chill romance memories
human alone in locked cabin ship sinking iceberg struck Titanic disasters

music has always been a luring gift calling souls in night silences
music has always been a love sorrow song blues were born in sadness
music has always been a siren call sad soul people flock to sad songs

sirens were always dangerous creatures music enchanting singing deaths
sirens were always women soft flesh irresistible barb toxic love potions
sirens were always alluring compelling singing voices lured nearby sailors

to death shipwreck on rocky coast their skeleton island of sailor's bones
