When we first met it was an ordinary day
At ordinary time, in ordinary place
When we first met, I had so much to say
But there was this space, the silent, empty space.
I saw you everywhere, in corners of the street
And motionless stood there, just praying we could meet.
Sometimes we would make contact with corners of our eyes
Sometimes you’d make me smile, or shatter with surprise.
We’d make those moments special, so magical, so rare
Those ordinary moments that you and I now share.
