Sometimes your life will be really hard
The distance you have to go may be really far
Words your friends say may hurt like scars

But remember when you're in the storm it's hard to see the end
It takes time for things to mend
But if you've fallen off the horse you have to get back up again

Hope like soap will help you cope
Don't rely on alcohol, drugs, or dope
Look for words in books that God spoke

Pray to keep going although the light is gray
Forgiving up is not going to take the problem away
Success doesn't always happen in a single day
