When You're No Longer For Me Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

When You're No Longer For Me

When you're no longer for me
Do not live in pretence
Saying you carry me in your head

Be plain so I can let you be

Do not make my eyes wet
The future is all I can remember
The past I easily forget

I am tired of chasing shadows
Seeing my heart break again

When love grows without ripple
One's trust isn't in vain

Do not let me lose my sight
From the meal that add to my weight
There is nothing that is a way better
To part from the heart that harbor regrets.
