Luenta Heine

(july23 1992 / majuro hospital)

whenever, where ever

where ever i go
he follows me
whatever i do
he helps me
whenever i'm lost
he leads me to the right way
whenever i'm sad
he cheers me up
whenever i fall down
he lifts me up
whenever i cry
he dries my eyes with his own hands
whenever i'm alone
he's always there beside me
whatever i need
he gives me
without refusing to give

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
