Where Are You? Poem by Felix Otiende

Where Are You?

Rating: 1.0

WHERE ARE YOU?

Will I ever see you again?
So that my heart can be at peace,
Or you were a falling star?
Never to be seen again

Why did you let me set my eyes on you?
Knowing well you are moving wind,
You gave my life a new taste and flavor
Am not an artist, though I have painted your face on my walls

I have been picking used bus tickets from where met,
Just to find your number,
I want to listen to your angelic voice,
Even if you will abuse me, I will be satisfied

If this life is an illusion, I don't want its reality,
I'm ready to die to meet you in the next life,
Am ready to take all the risks,
Since your beauty is eating my bones like cancer

Am ready and willing to work as a slave in your father's house
Just to see your smile daily
I want you to light my world
You are a candle that will never go off.

Come hold my hands
