Where Are You? Poem by Isaac Helms

Where Are You?

Where are you today
I don’t know what to say
Made an unfair trade
Memory of you starts to fade
Are you with him?
My life become dim

Feared death at one time
My life is at its prime
Seek her Dark Majesty’s Vision
I gave into your submission
Arms wide open to death
Wait for my last breath

You told me what I wanted to hear
Then you gave me my worst fear
You believe these lies to strong
I can’t make you realize you’re wrong
Wrong about what was true
What else can I do?

I loved you so much
I know I still do
Tears I hold back
Where are when I need you the most
You are with him

Very beautiful.. I think everyone has at one time, reached out to someone they trust and then found they werent there. You wrote about this perfectly.
