Where Do They Go From Here? Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Where Do They Go From Here?

I need an answer now and here
Let someone just tell me
Someone must let me what I do not
Where do these people go to?
From here after they become corpses
Dismembered by bombs and explosives
Bloods spluttered and splashed all over
The floor and the walls drink theirs
Some fleshes are scattered and lost
There could those mistaken
They become incomplete and unwholesome
Tell me where they go from here
To heaven or hell?
In peace or in pieces?
I am confused
How do they get there?
As whole or in bits?
I need to know
Will someone, please, tell me
