Ever since we had separated

Since than I am in search of you

Since ages my eyes are looking

For you at every turning; my love

Hoping we meet once again in life

I have asked repeatedly the wind,

Even morning breeze, the birds

In the sky, the flowers in the garden

The dancing leaves on the trees

The beautiful peacock and deer

The splendid river and the boatman

The caravan of moving clouds

The musical and romantic rain

The moonlit full moon and eagle

Flying high in the sky and burning

candle and butterfly in the garden

Have ever seen my love any where

All said no, never seen your beloved.

At last tired I came and sat on sea shore

The waves were touching my feet

And saying yes your beloved did

come and sat on the sea shore

and waited and went back disappointed

Waves have been our confidants

For many years.Now I live with

the old memories at the twilight of my life.
