Where Is The Way

Rating: 5.0

Where is a way, one's death to flee?
Where is Heaven's door?
Eternal life for such as me
Who's faith is not quite sure

Wanting like others, living life
Joyful content with love
Free of conflict, hateful strife
Life endless, to live above

But could one arise, as me today
In my condition here
Yet if Jesus, is Heaven's Way
Why should my heart still fear?

How can one quit their lust for sin
The shame, fools path to walk
How can we bid Christ dwell within
About one's soul to talk

Where or how, can one learn to pray?
Which religion is true?
Where is life's Path, where sinners may
Drink of Salvation Dew?

I know how wicked thoughts can be
What words can do full hate
Somehow my aching heart can see
What sin and shame create

I know, I know, completely sure
Although still far from wise
With Christ one now, can all endure
Clear with open eyes

With praise my God I thank You here
Knowing You've come to reign
By faith Your Word, holding so dear
How can I live in vain.....
