You say you love me, yet where were you when I needed you most,
Where were you when the bridges lined up with people as my friends passed below?
Where were you when my brother was in the hospital,
And I needed the support?
Where were you when I wanted you to be with my family and I during the holidays,
And only an hour was too much to ask for?
Where you when you broke my heart and I stood over the edge,
Crying and in pain, suffering the torment?
You say you love me, but where were you when all I thought of was dying
And seeing my end?
Where were you when I enlisted to war,
Out of the hatred I had for myself not being what you wanted?
I was there for you always when you needed me, when you cried, were sick
and even now when you break my heart day after day that you're not with me.
I loved you every second and every day, I meant every word,
Where are you now?
