Wherever I Go Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Wherever I Go

Wandering in caves of time all alone.
Bewildered; betrayed in circles to roam.
Your always there, guiding my hand
Till together we find the daylight again.

Swamped and beat my raft by the sea,
Sick and wet, cold and hopeless I be.
Too far from land for a rescue to come
Dying, to save me your love song you sung.

Lost in the forest of unloving trees.
Surrounded by hate and cold misery.
You still are there and take me by hand
To lead me once more to a warm, loving land.

Barefoot on rocks that cut like a knife.
Lost and confused, lonely and crying.
You still come near, you wash off my blood
To carry me out with the warmth of your love

Wherever I been, wherever I go
In sun or in rain, in fog or in snow.
I know you are there, always near to my side
For you'll never leave me, in you I'll abide.
