Whisper Poem by Micron

Whisper

Rating: 5.0

This is a funny story my gran once to me said
I don’t know if true or if shed made it in her head
When saying once I wanted to go to the loo
Watch what word you used for that please do

I asked what do you mean by that I don’t understand
And laughing she told me this as I sniggered behind my hand
When both tiny her brother when small had wanted to go
He had asked in loud tones across the dining table so

His step mother in horror told him off and said not to call that and him did taunt
Told him if he wants its whisper next time in company he that want
So when later on when they were in the drawing room one day
Sitting on horse hair sofas stitting still silent while his posh aunt was there did stay

My gran said her aunt was talking to her baby brother
And he said to her he had a secret to tell her
So her aunt said loudly to him to my grans dismay
Well don’t shout boy come here whisper in my ear if you may
