Whispers (A Sonnet) Poem by SylvaOnyema (SUPER.T) Ubah

Whispers (A Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

The quality of love is not measured
It flows like the ceaseless sea
And touches thee
Who would have treasured
But thy fragile egg is not treasured
On countless plea
It knocked at thee
But your door was pressured

You stick like a gum to these parasite bees
That hover round thy heart
But the Niger River cannot quench this fire
That burns in me like the blowing breeze
Of an unsteady hat
For so drunk is my desire
