Whistle At Me

Give me a Whistle on the street
Say Hi
Dont be like everyone else
Show me Im somebody who exists
Tell me Im not a nobody
Id be missed
Just tell me something
Show me Im there
Keep me from going invisable
Let me exist
Show someone you care about nothing
Tell me hi
Let me exist
Make me visable
Be a friend
Whistle a freindly tune
Show me I exist
Keep me existing
Dont let me dissapear
Let me be here
Dont leave a nobody into the dust
Be different
Show me the world through visable eyes
Whistle a friendly tune
Prove I exist
Say hi out of the blue
Just whistle
And simply
Show me im there

A take on the desperate necessity that a person needs human contact in order to feel existence and to be in the scheme of things, a theme well-fit in this age where people roam by each other like ants in a muted community. A nice read.

poet Sir Walter Raleigh

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust

And pays us but with earth and dust;
