White Doves are soaring through Angel tears tonight
As the crying soul of a murdered life
Departs from someone’s friend, child, mother, lover…
No longer will they be able to share in life
But have only the choice to say an unspoken good-bye
Secrets of the night falls into the darkness
Life’s unexpected loneliness fills in the emptiness
For in a split moment life’s joys are taken away
And sinister strangers are only found to be the blame
For an empty dark heart walks in from outside
Purposely raises his aim then takes an innocent life
With little warning there was no way to prevent the madness
Only God Angels are left to comfort the devastating sadness
Angels wrap downy wings of reassurance around innocents
While singing in a calming tone of sadden regrets
As shimmering tears flow slowly from eyes of love
White Doves sweep down to assist a weary soul to take flight
Angels try not to question the harsh reality
Of how life can be taken away without any remorse
For there are many charlatans who choose to have no conscious
Just only selfishness to fill one’s mind
Who can only find solace in destroying other’s lives…
As for the parents, children, lover, and friends
Who are carrying the burdens of a heavy broken heart
There will be justice for the one you love
For God will disperse an eternity sentence
Of tormented never ending punishment
Forgiveness
Maybe in time…
