How many times have we asked ourselves,
who am I?
The question haunts us
as we journey down life’s road.
Am I what I want to be,
or is my life just one long lie?
Do I try to be someone that I am not?
Do I do things that I clearly cannot?
We question ourselves constantly
in a quest to find out who we really are.
We can always tell what we are not,
but who we are
only others can really tell.
over and over I ask.....and I still can't find the answers....It seems we beat ourselve up to fit into society's molds...and we can't be happy with who we are.....we have to feed off of each other I think.....listening to the many good friends we have....and not the one that wants to tear you done....they don't know the real YOU....the ones that walk away....they don't know and understand...and if they walk away...they are someone who will not help you answer the questions Great write David...I see you haven't lost your touch while I was away
It takes some longer than others to find there talent or where they lay, the peceptions of other if helpfull can some time shorten that path I think or so is the way
YOU are YOU and what more could one ask for is what I say...Great one David, same topic as my 'AM I' from a coupel months back....~~marci.xo~~~
