Who Are You? Poem by Praveen Kumar In Shobha Priya

Who Are You?

WHO ARE YOU

Wherever I look, I see you,
Near, distant, far on horizons,
Back, at front, and all around,
In air and water, on the land.

Who are you, why are you here?
For what great deal, are you here?
Why do you stir such a joy in me?
Why do I feel that I'm in Heaven?

Like honey in milk, you spread in me,
Like dews on leaves, you sit on me;
Freshness inspires, thrill fills the air,
I find my world, beautiful and fair.

How do you instill this joy in me
While you know not, who is I am?
How you capture me in your soul
Without a reach in physical scale?

You are my light, you're strength,
You are Godly gift beyond all wealth;
I feel secure while you are around,
And life, a blessing, to live, I find.

We commune though speak not a word,
And we see each other even at night,
How and why, it is beyond my read;
In the ocean of night, you are pure light.

Whether outside, or deep within me,
You reside, I wonder, in disbelief;
Or you're the soul of the soul in me,
Making me aware of the glory of life?
