Who Are You Anyway? Poem by Sheryl Barison

Who Are You Anyway?

Even though I miss you,
I won’t induce myself to you.
I know where to stand on
Between mind and emotion.

I can rule my feelings.
I don’t need you to see my pain.
I can silently crying,
Letting my tears falling.

You are some sort of story
That I don’t want to talk about.
I wrote you inside my heart,
So no one could read and tell.

Maybe I am weak as you see.
But I assure you
I can learn from mistakes.
Do what is needed.

Does it me whom to blame?
Why do I feel you cursed my name?
Maybe you and I are the same,
Because in the same mistakes were fall in.
