I am the waves that swish against the rocks
I am the wind that blows through your hair
I am the sun that shines on your face
I am the rain that drops on your face
I am the cool breeze that wakes you in the morning

I am the person who picks the radiant flowers
I am the person who gives courage
I am the person who believes in hope
I am the person who stands in the midst of gravel

Who dare tell me who to be?
Who dare frown upon me?
Who dare tell me what to wear?
Who dare tell me I have no opinion?
Who dare tell me to be quiet?
Who dare tell me when to smile?
Who dare tell me when to sit?
Who dare tell me when to walk?
