Who Is Right?

We’d like to think our church’s fine
Our doctrines right and true
Yet some receive the bread and wine
With only self in view

The church belongs to Christ God’s Son
Through blood and birth anew
And as His bride we must be one
United through and through

For Life and Truth to saturate
The Light we need to see
To serve and not procrastinate
And often bend our knee

When self and pride comes tumbling down
When Jesus’ bride we’ve served
Humility gives Christ the crown
Gives Christ His place deserved

Of course its nice to think we’re right
We walk the way we should
But if our deeds despise The Light
Our life is not that good

With Christ in mind with Christ in sight
We’ll see The Promised Land
For what is life without The Light?
Without The Master’s hand

When Christ as Lord, we’ve lifted up
When Christ is on His throne
Blessings will fill each servant’s cup
Who’s heart’s no longer stone

We need to turn our thoughts above
Consult of God what’s wrong
Seek sense of Jesus’ perfect love
The meaning of His song
