Who Takes Away This Paper

Who takes away this paper
Flying the deep deep sea
Takes away our baptism

Drinks not from the family cup
With a sunken heart
Like a bedraggled bird
Kills the 'Naija' dream

Who takes away this paper
Steals from the Nation's warehouse
Like the dry waters of drought
Leaves us bleeding

Who takes way this paper
Showers kisses of woe
Like the echo
Of a roaring Lion
Blows the trumpet
Of a raging storm.
