Who, What, Why, When, Where Poem by Natalie Clyne

Who, What, Why, When, Where

Who
Are we speaking to when we pray?
Who
Feeds the Earth, forever and always?
I ask again, who?

What does it mean
When a child is stopped from playing?
What does it mean
When there is no snow at winter time?
I ask again, what does it mean?

Why is it
That people cry when they are happy?
Why is it
That the wind is all around us, yet we cannot see it?
I ask again, why is it so?

When is it
Possible to truly trust your instincts?
When is it
Fair to judge someone that you have never met?
I ask again, when is it so?

Where
Do we go to escape ourselves?
Where
Do we go when life is unfair?
I ask again, where?
