Why can't we make this world understand
Our strong spiritual connection
Our oneness
Our incompleteness without the other?
Why can't we tell them about us
Our deep love
Our sense of belonging?
Why should we have to live
By the petty rules
Laid down by the people in this world?
Why must we be forced to follow
Every norm, every tradition and convention
While we inwardly long to be with one another
Each moment of our existence?
Why must we wait
To be reborn to be united?
Why can't we just be?
