You think it’s so easy to watch our love just fade away,
But it’s tearing me apart, With each passing day.
Why can’t you love me and show me that you’re there?
Why can’t I wake up in the morning knowing that you care?
I don’t know who you are anymore,
Or the person you’ve become.
I actually believed we’d always be together,
You and me as one.
At night I don’t want to go to sleep for fear that tomorrow will be our last “goodbye”,
So instead I lie awake, And all I can do is cry.
When I found myself head-over-heels in love with you, I didn’t think the journey would end,
I believed we’d build a life together, not feel like just were just friends.
I don’t feel wanted by you in any sort of way,
And I hate just sitting here with nothing I can say.
There’s nothing I can say to change your state of mind,
I don’t see why you can’t have a serious and faithful relationship for a long period of time.
What is so wrong with me that you can’t be happy to say that you’re my man?
I struggle to find the answer, So I’m left not knowing where I stand.
Do you love me the way I love you,
Or are you just holding back from telling me the truth?
Can you love me and only me?
What else can I do to make you open you’re eyes and see?
We are destined to be together forever as one,
But you can’t see it, If from your emotions you run.
I miss all the good times we shared,
Especially the times when I was so sure you cared? ! ? ! ? !
