Why do they have to be so cruel
So full of hatred towards others
Why do they have to be so mean to people
When they don't even know who's behind the skin
Can't they just let us live life happily and without more problems
For we have problems of their own
Can they be better
Can they change
Can they fix all the hearts they've broken
Can they mend all the dreams they've shattered
You know who I'm talking about
The people that've always hurt you over the years
The people that pretended to like you then stabbed you in the back
The people that told lies about you and shared your secrets
But it's okay now
You don't have to worry anymore
Forget about those haters
Because what goes around comes around
And God will treat you right
How you are supposed to be treated
One day
God will do what's right
