Why Impress Me When I Already Love You? Poem by sindey forte

Why Impress Me When I Already Love You?

- Why do you try to impress me.
When it’s not even wreath it.
you lie, and say things that are not true.
Just so I can like you.
It’s kind of childish and silly.
But very hurtful in many ways.
I like you for who you are.
Not a person who’s faking about having a car.
All of you is fine.
So please stop with the stuff you have combine.
Your hair is cute like the way you have it.
Don’t go out to the Barbara and shave it.
Your eyes are black and shine.
Like a black diamond on a fancy necklace.
You don’t have to impress me for my love.
Because you’re my everything from above.
