Widespread Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Widespread

Rating: 3.0

Settling of scores
Against-
As it be
There it is
Universally
Settled principle
Whoever
Throwing mud
Over others
Bringing down
Dragging-
Into it
Has to settle
Down first
Below enough
Down-
In the middle
Of it
With soiled hands.

Activating
Inner-being
Guiding
Even when
One is awake
Or asleep
Speaking to
Outer-being
The outer-being
Acting upon
As willing
Consciousness.

Antagonism
And malice
H’ve no place
In this world
Of competitions
In fairness and
Fitness of things
Where-
Success doesn’t run
From door to door
For everyone
To meet
At its end
However-
As a settled
Principle of Nature
Feed doesn’t enter
The nest of a bird
Yet, the whole world
Remains full
Of possibilities
Leaving no space
For impossible.

Only if
One is fair
And awake
Irrefutably
It’s blessed with
Priceless gift
The life to be
And appreciated
Every minute of it.
