Win Some, Lose Some Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Win Some, Lose Some

W-in some, lose some
I-t's impossible to take all;
L-et the day yield to the night,
H-iding under the evenfall.
E-arly dawn October twenty-second
L-ater leads to the dusk;
M-orning light in the sky lets one see the devil's task.

A-nother bright beacon
B-ecomes shy to the moon;
A-fter the sun comes down,
R-ays shall be dimmer soon.
R-each the reachable, sail when the ocean is calm;
O-pen your heart to storm, win some, lose some.
