Wind Poem by G J Salgado

Wind

I could hear the wind coming
I thought it was you
It reminded me of the ocean
When it was just me and you
Before you really knew me
After I fell in love with you
Sea salt in our hair
Sand on our skin
With the moon's reflection
It was the perfect getaway
Where a place of you and me were born
I felt the wind in the night
When the storm came to my window
I heard the wind and it sounded like you
I heard your voice and it sounded like the ocean
Sea salt in my hair and your voice was like sand in the wind
Sand in the wind and your voice was like silk on my skin
Silk on my skin and your were my ocean dream in the wind
