Wings Blur Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Wings Blur

Rating: 5.0

Wings beat like a blur
Long tongue drinking nectar
Faster I beat to stay in one place
Very delicate and full of grace
Iridescent colours blue and green
The prettiest birds you ever seen
Dodging about feeding all day
Please fill up the feeder so I may
Daintily I fly about here
Flying away if you come too near
Wings hum, as they should
I will entertain if you are good
