(for scientist Abdul Kalam)
Immersed in the sky-ward dreams
A visionary of incantation
Who owns the eyes for dreaming
Who knows the art of weaving dreams
He, after all, knows how to paint
The wings of the resplendent fire
This Sage is a living legend
Till this day an oarsman's son
Setting sail in the ocean
Gauges the ungarnished truth
Sketched on the heart of the blue
The notes of the veena come drifting
Raise ripples in the mind's cistern
The waves surge up
Come, let's ink our whereabouts in the sky
Life shall one day swell out
With the firm revolution of wisdom
