Winter Blues Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Winter Blues

If January wasn't so long
And February was just as short
I'd be singing more happy songs
And wouldn't mind living up north
But there's something about a cold gray day
That just makes you want to stay
In bed all day
And wish the winter would go away
Snow
Snow
And more snow again
Or cold that will never end
The sneezing of the nose
The cough that won't go
Snot running like water from a garden hose
And all the bills you owe
Just staring you in the face
If it wasn't for grace
You'd probable murder someone
Or winter is so much fun
