Wire And Brick Poem by grim blackhart

Wire And Brick

struggling, cutting, sawing...
through the thick wire
climbing through a mesh of
personified rays of light..
bloodied teeth, inflamed heart
gorge on darkness, shadows and spite.

Pressing, pushing, shoving...
against the hard brick
dissolving sand trickling through your eyes..

Tasting, touching, smelling...
against a solitary existence
build a cryinig creature
then leave it behind to die.
forever... and always behind..
the wire and brick..
