Wish Poem by Frankie Renae

Wish

we wait for their call
we watch them fall
and so do our tears
but I'll be here
always here for you
I worry if you drink
don't fear what you think
we can buy flowers
chill for hours

Chorus:
but somewhere below the stars in the sky
lie the breakdowns in your life
that can't be cured by candles or yellow lights
still I try
there's something about watching the drama you raise
got me blowin dandelions on a chase
keepin my 11: 11's for you
see ya through

pull crazy vandal stunts
play the ground of runts
spend 28 mins pic-snapping
scream and cruise to rapping
try costumes on and give out gifts
run and fall up fire lifts
share a tire swing
push a merry-go-ring
crash places of work
check out guys who lurk

Chorus

we watch a while
we wait for their smile
stuck by laughs and fun
admiration and guts
by breaking curfews
and the choices you choose
I want copies of those photos
and your guy friend's mojo
oops, TMI aka j/k
I love you, Molee, in a friend way
