Wishful Thinking

What I held inside
is free at last
I am given opportunity
to start anew
ans still have you
the love I felt isn't gone
but I am moving on
a new hope in my heart
a fresh new start
you were kind
and not as blind
as I though
I won't leave
so neither of us will grieve
There is no need
I've been free
from a prison
of unrequited love
I fly
high
White like the dove
I have a new light
to blink at
a new heart
to hope for
My new open door
it might end worse
or better
As for us
Friends
we will be
you and me

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
