Wishful Thinking
What I held inside
is free at last
I am given opportunity
to start anew
ans still have you
the love I felt isn't gone
but I am moving on
a new hope in my heart
a fresh new start
you were kind
and not as blind
as I though
I won't leave
so neither of us will grieve
There is no need
I've been free
from a prison
of unrequited love
I fly
high
White like the dove
I have a new light
to blink at
a new heart
to hope for
My new open door
it might end worse
or better
As for us
Friends
we will be
you and me
