With My Desperation



I chose you with my
Desperation,
Trying to fill the empty spaces
Within my heart.

But all the while
You have been playing along
With tenacious looks.

You could have tried
To tag along.

You should have tried.

Instead,
You pry your sights
On more interesting
Creatures.
