Within Boundaries Poem by Rose Kanana

Within Boundaries

Rating: 4.8

My beloved Country
When will peace prevail?
When will induced rape and death be of the past?
We harbor scars of our dead loved ones that we never buried
Guard us beloved-for thy neighbors' honey isn't sweeter than ours
We are better within our boundaries
The world is better with us there

Hey Shweni, the line expresses the many loved one we lose to war that families never get to bury- hence the scars
